My first introductions, 31st December 2004

Thanks be unto God for Dr. Nick Warner and his amazingly wonderful partner Ian plus the folks of the Desert Oasis Chapel.

I was visiting Palm Springs on a mini-vacation and friends - whom I discovered were from my then region of the country - invited me to join them for attendance at the services of the Desert Oasis Chapel.  Services at that time were being held at the chapel of one of their local hospitals.

The people of the community were so incredibly kind, genuine, caring and loving; they made me feel right at home and I'll never ever forget that introduction to like-minded believers who'd been accustom to a belief system that said it was impossible to be both "Christian" and "gay" plus loved and accepted within the family of God.   My experience within the midst of these wonderful people was exactly what I'd hoped to discover and so much more.

I would encourage anyone visiting the desert who seek a haven of like-minded believers to consider this community and if you're reading this message and live within the desert, it would definitely be an ideal location worthy of considerations.

Dr. Nick Warner, his partner Ian and the wonderful people within this body are truly gifted, by God's grace, with the hospitality, personality and love for ALL people regardless of race, creed, gender or religious affiliations.

Wow!  What a wonderful website!  Not only is it beautiful, but it is exceptionally easy to navigate and very interactive.  I love being able to search the message library for phrases or words.  Kudos on the new site.
